Diga-me como se comportaria Obama ou voce ou eu naquele trágico 11 de setembro sabendo que inimigos fanáticos lançaram dois aviões lotados de gente contra as torres gêmeas, também lotadas de gente, e que mais um avião foi arremessado contra o pentágono e mais um que se destinava à Casa Branca que só não chegou ao destino pela ação heróica dos passageiros que impediram. Diga-me, qual seria a reação de um menos estúpido naquele momento, não hoje com as coisas já passadas? E agora, por ocasião da crise que estourou no mundo privado, e que todos sabem que o estado norteamericano quase nada se intromete na economia, por principio, como agiria um menos estúpido? Eu li as 902 páginas da auto-biografia de Bill Clinton e quem se der o trabalho de procurar lá verá que ele se vangloria de haver forçado o Congresso a liberar recursos para o crédito facil para as "pessoas de baixa renda" adquirirem imvóeis financiados a longo prazo e sem garantias, ganhando popularidade e deixando a bomba para estourar no colo do sucessor. É chique hoje tirar o couro do Busch estando fora do lugar dele e com a platéia a favor.

As you may or may not know there are some very prominent cuban-american websites who rant on and on about how obama is the antichrist and castro's twin to boot and THEY KNOW because THEY have seen the communist evil FIRST HAND (big lie in many cases... they're GRANDPARENTS left cuba... they have never been there....).
So here is a response to that from a cuban american which I liked very much....
And the fact is...he is right.... but for some cuban-american votes in 2000 (and but for election fraud) Gore would have won the election, we'd never have had the Iraq war... and we wouldn't be trillions and trillions more dollars in debt now....

Well, well, the Cuban immigrants have gotten themselves into a tizzy. LOL
For the first time, the concern and paranoia of the Cuban militant is legitimate.
The warning bells were sounded long ago, when Bush quietly formed a police state. I assume that was ok with the Cuban militants, as long as the republicans remained in control of Bush's America's police state.
But the Cuban militants forgot something as they comfortably settled into Bush's (Patriot Act) repressive police state. They forgot that America always throws out the governing party, if it runs the nation into the ditch. Which is exactly what has happened.
Now what does the Cuban militant have to face: 1) complete state police powers 2) a trillion dollars of bail-out money to be handed by Bush to the President Obama 3) super-power majorities in both houses 4) a pissed off majority of the populace demanding vegence against anybody who put Bush into office, i.e., Cuban exiles.
Who would have thought that the Cuban militant could flee from one police state to another? Thanks to Bush, that is exactly what has happened.
Bush's early history had instructed us that he has ruined anything he has touched. For sure, he has ruined Reagan's revolution, which took nearly 40 years to accomplish. Bush has ruined the majorities in the house and senate. And now with the state legislatures falling in the leftist hands. They will be able to the census year of 2010 redraw districts to flip another 50-60 seats that will last a decade. And of course, Bush obliterated the Cuban immigrant hard-earned respect and reputation. As Bush and Miami Cubans will forever be historically linked.
What is worse, is that you Cubans were warned about Bush. But you shrugged your shoulders, just like you did in 1959.
But, I always knew this day would come. I sounded the alarm bells years ago in the Cuban Connection, when i was railing against Bush. For i knew, that only a republican adminstration could strip away the protections and freedoms which America (used) held so dear. Bush is the one who began the communist state in America, and he put the period on it with the siezure of America's financial institutions. Obama will just implement the communist framework that Bush has left in place for his successor.
Even at this very moment, i am shaking my head in disbelief that more people didnt say, "wait a minute Bush, you are undoing what makes Americans free and secure."
And now look, Obama will have the most unhibited powers that the world has ever seen. An unstoppable mandate, back with a trillion dollars to dole out to his henchmen, complete police powers, a nation that will give him free reign, an adoring world who will bark upon his command.
And to think this nightmare started, November of 2000, with the Miami Cuban community annoited Bush as President, as punishment for the return of Elian, "the same exact thing that Bush would later do to that little girl," as Cuban-Americans looked on with indifference.
Well congratulations Cubans in Miami, the world, and the nation, were indeed punished. It is just to bad for you, that people will never forget, especially now!!
